Patrick Luebben and Julian Horstmann earn PSAC honors

Shippensburg, PA. Senior Pat Luebben (Gladenbach, Germany) and freshman Julian Horstmann (Dortmund, Germany) earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) honors after a successful season with the Shippensburg University Raiders (10-3-4).

Patrick was named 1st team All-Conference after his fourth and final season with the Raiders. The Raider’s team captain started 16 of 17 games and scored five goals. On the Raider’s team, Pat was the second-leading scorer during one of the most successful seasons in recent years. Before he was recruited by Shippensburg, Patrick played in the SOCCERSHIPS SHOWCASE in February 2015.
On top of the PSAC honor, Pat earned First Team Google Cloud Academic All-District® for his performances on the field and in the classroom. Besides his impact on the field, Pat was able to receive a 3.90 GPA (Grade Point Average).

After his first season with the Raiders, former Borussia Dortmund youth player Julian Horstmann, was named 2nd team All- Conference. He was part of a strong defense, that allowed only 14 goals in 17 games and recorded 8 shutouts. Julian was recruited by Ship after he participated in the 2018 SOCCERSHIPS showcase in Duesseldorf, Germany.
